“What I most want to know is that (God) cares for me and has a loving providence in my regard. In other words, all our desires of God, even for material things, reduce to a desire for a sense of (God’s) relationship to us.”–William Barry in “God and You.” “Material things” are not limited to the tangible, but can include our desires for love, health and well being for ourselves and others. The two great commandments, to love God and our neighbors, make clear that we can pray in love and with confidence, knowing that we are in a deep and real relatiionship with our creator and sustainer. Thank you for allowing me to pray with and for you. Brother Paul (Prayer Chaplain). Please send me your prayer requests. pvmccue@hotmail.com
